Reporting to the Senior Manager Lubeplex, the Lubeplex Bulk Team Leader is an integral member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team. The individual’s expertise and experience in Blending, Grease Making, Bulk Loading and Offloading operation’s best practices will play a critical role in delivering Global Supply Chain’s performance objectives in safety, quality, service, and cost. This position supports in the development of the Manufacturing Business Plan, Capital Budget, and Key Performance Measures. The Lubeplex Bulk Team Leader has responsibility for direct supervision of the Grease Plant, Blending Facilities and the Bulk Loading and Offloading Operations in Mississauga.
Job Duties
Ensure all the Bulk operations run in a safe, reliable and environmentally compliant manner
Creating a safety culture that promotes looking out for one another and doing things the right way leveraging hazard identification and our safety programs.
Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with government Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety procedures, all within the terms of the Collective Agreement
Provide overall leadership, strategic direction and priorities to the Batch and Inline Blending; Grease Making and Packaging; Bulk Offloading and Loading operations that include both full time salaried staff and hourly employees based in Mississauga.
Responsible for the manufacturing of in-house additive and “flushings” processing
Demonstrate strong Non-Authoritative Leadership (NAL) skills and a commitment to teamwork & empowerment to create an environment of opportunity and growth

Monitor expenses, throughput and develops continual improvement initiatives with equipment and processes.

Accountable for Bulk Operations compliance with PCLI’s management systems including ISO 9001, 14001, and IATF 16949
Oversee the Lubeplex effluent streams to ensure environmental compliance
Continuous improvement of the effluent stream from the Lubeplex
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their manager, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing/operational environment is required
Experience leading teams in an operational setting
Packaging operations experience is an asset
Engineering experience is an asset
Management systems (IATF, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000) and Quality Assurance is an asset
Education Level
Post-secondary education with a Technical diploma/degree preferred however, a combination of education and related work experience will be considered.

Work Conditions
Work is conducting mainly in an office setting with regular exposure to the on-site blending, grease making and loading facilities.
Periods of increased pressure and stress when dealing with operational challenges and responding to incidents.
North American travel to Global Supply Chain facilities/operations may required
Physical Requirements
Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs., pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs., perceiving color differences. Job conditions may require twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching or grasping, and working in confined spaces as permitted.
