We are currently hiring for: Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator helps to oversee the daily coordination of freight shipments and will ensure assigned freight loads are created and tracked in a timely and efficient manner, while also providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the strategic matching of available carrier equipment to every available customer load.

· Negotiate rates with carriers to obtain the best possible rate in the marketplace for each load moved.

· Develop and maintain quality working relationships and loyalty with reliable carriers to successfully move the freight at an advanced-level service expectation.

· Maintain reliable communications with carriers and internal teams regarding changes in pick-up and delivery schedules while anticipating and resolving issues such as time demands, route, and weather delays as well as delayed or damaged shipments.

· Grow long term relationships with existing drivers by continuously displaying the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and service always.

· Provide after-hours support when needed.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a transportation, supply chain, or brokerage needed.

· Strong time management

· Excellent communication and listening skills.

· Flexible with hours

· Ability to locate great carriers with resources.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and integrity.

· Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

· Strong creative problem solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

· Capacity to work well independently.

· Highly motivated to learn and take on new tasks as needed.

· Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
