Position: Jr Business Analyst (Inventory Control/Replenishment)

Reporting to: Owner with a dotted line to Controller

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing a wide range of analytic support functions, Order Entry, Organizing Digital and physical documents to support Invoicing, Purchasing and Inventory Control. Liase with the Bakery located in Mount Brydges Ontario to ensure orders are processed in a timely fashion (Daily), and to ensure that support is maintained in the Accounting, Purchasing and Inventory Control and Replenishment areas of the company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Input orders into the General ERP system on a daily basis or as required
• Daily, Weekly , Monthly inventory control and purchase orders with authorization
• Work with Sales to collect forecasts by customer by item my month /week
• Work with Production /Sales and Controller to Prepare weekly/monthly inventory control report for Packaging Materials and in future all Materials needed for Bakery Production including Raw Materials, Packaging Materials Prepare daily deposits of ticket sales receipts
• Issue Purchase orders to vendors and obtain purchase order approvals, confirmations, follow through to delivery when required and red marking hot required materials when needed and urgently managing them through the supply chain to delivery (prep paperwork with receipts) for vendor invoice payments
• Work with Vendors/Production at the Bakery to ensure terms of po’s are adhered to including payment, on time delivery and to resolve any issues involved in maintaining the terms of the purchase orders. Materials must arrive on time to Bakery so that they can Bake on time and in full of Sales orders for Customers.
• Familiarize and become an expert on the Company ERP system
• Follow through customer orders and communicate with customers when required on the status of their order
• Match up packing slips/BOLs to customer purchase orders and Invoice accordingly (physically and/or digitally)
• Investigate deductions/returns from Customers (Walmart, Loblaws, Giant tiger and others to verify/validate deductions and if not validated work with retailer contacts to obtain return of deductions)
• Work with Controller on other reports/journal entries and/or other accounting functions
• Help Controller with month end/year end accounting documents as required

Requirements:

• General knowledge of computer accounting software systems;
• Experienced in processing accounts payable/receivable, sub-ledger and general ledger entries and reconciliations; order entry, purchasing, invoicing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English);
• Certified Accounting Certificates an Asset
• Experience in Food/Customer Service an Asset
• Experience in Sales Support/Accounting support an Asset
• Experience in, EXCEL management proficiency a must
• Experience in Replenishment Management, Inventory Control and asset
• Bilingual esp. French an Asset
