Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner – Technology this is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Analyst to support in the provision of financial reporting, analysis & decision support to the Technology function with focus on both Opex run costs of the function, as well as Capex investment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Technology and Finance colleagues, ensuring robust accounting practice and driving insightful reporting and analysis.

You will have a demonstratable track record of working in a finance analyst / management accountant roles, preferably gained in a commercial environment and be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide reporting insight and key decision support across the Technology function.

An upwardly mobile analyst you possess exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain credible relationships with key stakeholders at various levels in the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Timely and accurate delivery of insightful reporting
• Delivery of month end close process including posting journals, P&L review, Capex review, and managing any accruals/prepayments as required
• Building relationships across Technology & Finance to help deliver robust cost analysis and supporting commentary
• Adapting and aligning reporting to meet Tech and wider business needs
• Maintenance of cost tracking models and assisting in delivery of squad level management reporting, as well as collation of benefits information aligned to Tech delivery and cost
• Analysis of cost variances and assisting in updating forecasts / budgets to reflect new information on costs
• Support all budget/forecast processes across Opex and Capex budgets, working with Finance & Tech teams to provide timely outlook on cost profiles
• Working with Finance and Tech teams to ensure adherence to governance and process around Tech expenditure

• Accountancy qualification studier ( CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA) with desire to achieve qualification in next 2 years
• Drive & motivation to deliver against objectives
• Strong Excel modelling skills
• Clear, confident communicator
• A basic understanding of Tech terminology is desirable but not essential
