We’re looking for an amazing Specialist, Social Media to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for development and execution of a creative strategy to grow our trade social media channels. This individual will support trade engagement for North America Sales across sales managers individual channels by providing relevant, engaging content. They will own our internal sales team communications as well as our external trade-facing communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative and engaging social media strategies and multimedia content to enhance Holland America Line’s brand and presence with the Trade. Develop engaging and relevant social media content that can be utilized by Holland America Line’s Sales Team and travel advisors
• Own our internal sales team communications through weekly emails. Consolidate complex information across multiple departments into digestible, simple bullet points
• Implement and manage social media scheduling/publishing tools to deliver content across social media channels such as Facebook & Instagram two times per week in alignment with trade engagement messaging and commercial initiatives
• Manage our trade voice across social media, trade channels and trade marketing opportunities. Own our biweekly trade newsletter. Provide topics and creative direction to dedicated trade copywriter and graphic designer. Serve as the liaison for our invite-only top account program in collaboration with North America VP of Sales and North America Sales Directors
• Analyze trends and techniques across social media and the cruise & travel industry. Implement new ideas & adjust strategy as needed to best support Holland America Line goals & commercial needs
• Collaborate with organic social team on a weekly basis. Additional duties as assigned by Director
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, nimble work environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential
• This individual must be a strong communicator that is able to regularly work across multiple departments and simplify information

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Social media work experience or completed internship
• Cruise or travel industry experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of social media and marketing
• Flexible, professional, creative with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
• Graphic design experience
• Web design experience
• Excellent writing skills (a MUST)
• Creativity
• Thrives in a highly collaborative, remote environment

• Base Salary Range: $54,200.00 to $73,200.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates’ qualifications and experience uniquely.
