Holistic Integration Hiring for Health Coach at Indianapolis, IN Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments of clients’ health status, goals, and lifestyle factors affecting their health and well-being.
• Design personalized health plans that include goals for nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and other wellness areas.
• Monitor clients’ progress and provide ongoing support and motivation through regular follow-ups.
• Educate clients on health and wellness topics, including nutritional information, the importance of physical activity, and techniques for managing stress.
• Empower clients to take control of their health by developing their self-efficacy and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, nutritionists, or other professionals as needed to ensure a holistic approach to the client’s health.
• Keep up to date with the latest health and wellness research, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• A background in health science, nutrition, psychology, nursing, or a related field is beneficial.
• Certification from a recognized health coaching program, such as the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate clients.
• A compassionate and non-judgmental approach, recognizing the unique challenges and needs of each individual.
• Knowledge of behavior change theories and techniques to help clients make sustainable health adjustments.
