About the Role
Whilst based in our Sydney office the role plays a part in the broader national team focused on everyone working together toward a common goal.

This is a front facing senior position crucial to supporting the finance team in its delivery of:

• Trust Receipting
• Invoice Entry
• Trust and Office Payments
• Bill Payors Changes
• Bill Reversals
• Controlled Money Account Openings and Closings
• Attending to and overseeing the Accounts Mailbox

You will also play a key role in supporting and developing a team of accounts professionals, providing supportive and timely advice to the business and establishing trusted working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients.

About You
We are seeking a capable Finance Officer or Senior Finance office who is motivated and customer service driven. The successful candidate must have previous experience as a Trust or Finance Clerk gained in a legal or professional services/ accounting environment, as well as experience using PEXA or the capacity to quickly acquire this knowledge.

You will also who possess the following experience and attributes:

• Proficiency in Excel
• Proficiency in accounting software (Aderant is our accounting software and will be highly regarded)
• A team player with a client first approach who works collaboratively
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to tailor your communication/ advice to suit your audience
• Excellent attention to detail and sounds judgement
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines while remaining composed and organised during peaks in workload
• Capacity to supervise, develop and manage staff as required.
