Holcim US Hiring for Equipment Operator at Morrison, CO Full Time

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Operates blade, dozer’s, loaders, excavators, haul trucks or other types of large equipment used for moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, and stone.
• Loads material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant
• Moves earth or other materials from one location to another
• Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment; Maintains appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels and performs minor repairs as needed
• Keeps equipment clean and orderly
• Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times
• Completes paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required
• Performs the day-to-day activities of a plant (Quarry), duties could include tasks associated with maintaining the stationary equipment of various plants
• Maintains and reviews maintenance logs for repairs
• Communicates with drivers and crew which includes supervisor, loader operators and laborers

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• REQUIRED: Minimum of one year of experience with Blade, Dozer’s, Haul Truck, Excavators, Loaders and other types of large equipment used for sand & gravel, and stone.
• REQUIRED: Valid Driver’s License.

Estimated Wage Range: $29.23 – 37.58 Pay Type: Hourly
