Risk & Intelligence Service (RIS) Software Engineering
The RIS Software Engineering Team are professionally accredited developers who provide a wealth of expertise and experience within the world of computer sciences.
We build internal IT solutions to help our colleagues in RIS and across Customer Compliance achieve their goals and objectives; this can take the form of short/long term projects to build bespoke software systems or more targeted development aimed at solving a particular problem. Whatever we do our aim is to improve processes, create efficiencies, produce resource savings or improve data security.
As lead developer, you will be responsible for the operational stability of the software and be in a position to effect the change in the ongoing stability of those systems.
You will oversee the design and development of new software systems and the support of existing RIS/HMRC systems including the Net Framework, Microsoft Office Products and SQL Databases.
We are looking for a Software Engineer with excellent technical skills who has experience of designing and building software solutions and a track record of coaching and mentoring other developers.

Benefits
Team members that are moving offices as a result of the Locations Programme will be entitled to a Moves Adjustment Payment for three years where they incur additional costs. This is calculated based on the difference between the costs of travelling to and from the new and old office, over a weekly period. You will get more detail on this as part of targeted locations move communications.
