The European Vendor Solutions (EVS) team executes the Hitachi Capital Corporation common strategy in Europe by developing innovative funding programs with Hitachi and Mitsubishi Group businesses and their distribution channels, and Hitachi Capital Corporation key accounts. The range of Group businesses that we support cover construction, medical, rail, materials handling, technology, LED lighting & energy efficiency as well as heating & ventilation market sectors. EVS established as their own Business Unit in April 2019 and have grown from a team of 3 to 38 strong.

What does the role involve?

As Talent Acquisition Resourcer, you will join on a 6-month fixed term contract and have exposure to the full resourcing life cycle, from the initial brief through to offer stage. You’ll spend much of your time proactively sourcing by networking and market mapping on LinkedIn. You will also screen potential candidates, ensuring you give a great first impression and customer experience. Throughout this process you will work closely with the HR Business Partner and support them working with the hiring managers within the business unit.

• Telephone screening potential candidates and giving clear, constructive feedback on the outcome of their application.
• Conducting proactive research for potential candidates using a variety of sources.
• Writing job adverts, candidate summaries, and offer letters.
• Scheduling, and arranging the required resources for, interviews, assessment centres and other resourcing events.
• Supporting with additional tasks and projects as required.
