Job Title: VMC Operator
Department: Production / Machining
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 2-5 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma (Mechanical background preferred)
Key Responsibilities:-
Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
Perform job setting, tool setting, and offset corrections.
Load and unload components safely.
Run CNC/VMC programs and monitor machining operations.
Inspect components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Bore Gauge.
Maintain product quality and production targets.
Monitor tool wear and replace tools when necessary.
Follow safety standards and 5S practices.
Maintain production and inspection records.
Required skills:-
VMC machine operation
Basic G-Code & M-Code knowledge
Mechanical drawing reading
Tool setting and offset correction
Knowledge of cutting tools and inserts
Use of measuring instruments
Quality inspection
Shop-floor safety and 5S practices
