We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Fashion Designer to join our team in Bangalore. This role is perfect for a passionate individual eager to shape innovative designs while working from home. You will contribute to the latest fashion trends and develop unique collections.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Design Development**: Create original clothing designs that align with brand identity and market trends. You will research fashion trends and develop sketches and samples for collections.
2. **Collection Planning**: Oversee the planning and execution of seasonal collections. Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet timelines and quality standards.
3. **Fabric Selection**: Choose appropriate fabrics and materials for designs. Analyze texture, color, and durability to enhance your creative ideas.
4. **Trend Analysis**: Stay updated on current fashion trends and competitor activities. Monitor the industry to ensure our designs are innovative and competitive.
5. **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to bring your designs to life. Effective communication will be key in discussing ideas and resolving challenges.
Required Skills and Expectations:
The ideal candidate should have a post-graduate education in fashion design and 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. You must possess strong sketching and technical design skills, a keen eye for aesthetics, and knowledge of textile properties. Creativity and the ability to work independently from home are essential. Being detail-oriented and adept at meeting deadlines will contribute to your success in this role.
