Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation of all food items.
Handle food preparation activities such as chopping, marinating, grinding spices, and sauce preparation.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations.
Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies.
Store food items properly and ensure freshness of ingredients.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Minimize food wastage and maintain cost-effective kitchen practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal specials.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Indian Cook, Curry Cook, Tandoor Cook, or Chef.
Knowledge of North Indian, South Indian, Mughlai, or regional Indian cuisines.
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, catering services, or cloud kitchens.
Knowledge of inventory management and food cost control.
