We are seeking an experienced House Maid who will provide cleaning and household management services in Port Louis. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of experience, be diligent, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Cleaning and Tidying**: You will be responsible for dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors, ensuring that all areas of the home are clean and well-maintained.
2. **Laundry**: You will wash, dry, and fold clothes, as well as manage ironing as needed, ensuring that all garments are handled with care.
3. **Cooking**: Prepare simple meals and snacks according to dietary preferences or restrictions, while ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization.
4. **Household Inventory**: Monitor and manage household supplies, notifying the employer when items need restocking, such as cleaning products or groceries.
5. **Assisting with Errands**: You may be required to run errands like grocery shopping or picking up deliveries, helping to ensure the household runs smoothly.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate should have completed 10th-grade education and possess a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safe handling of household products. A proven history of reliability and attention to detail is essential, along with strong communication skills. You should be able to work independently and efficiently, take initiative, and respect family privacy at all times. A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing household needs are highly valued.
