What’s the role?

You will be responsible for operations and maintenance to large scale storage and ground mounted solar PV panels.

You must be an 18th edition qualified electrician as a minimum with some knowledge of solar PV technologies. Full training will be given but knowledge of AC, DC, SCADA and central inverters would be highly desirable and push you towards the top salaries.

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the ability to operate safely, ideally as part of a wider group of contractors on large scale projects.

The business is keen to support your development, so the desire and ability to become and authorised person would really set you out from the crowd. If you are looking to build a career in renewables, this could be the role for you.

Problem solving will be in your nature. The patience to test and fault find and repair is a key component of this role. Inspection and testing qualifications would be highly desirable.
