Hired Limited Hiring for HR Administrator with Payroll Job at Harlow, England Full Time

(This role is office-based and not remote).

My client is a leading global chemical company based in Harlow and is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Administrator with payroll support to join their busy HR Team, this is a strong administrative role with lots of variety. This is initially a 6 month Temporary or Fixed Term Contract and could possibly go Permanent.

The HR Administrator will deliver high-quality end-to-end administrative support within the UK HR team. Supporting various HR initiatives as well as supporting the UK Payroll team.


Responsibilities to include:
  • Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR-related queries
  • HR administration such as new joiner/leaver documentation
  • On-boarding Induction paperwork
  • Sending out Offer Letters and Contracts of Employment
  • Updating Workday HR database, starters, leavers, job changes, etc
  • Assisting with monthly payroll administration
  • Updating the HR internal Intranet
  • Carry out administration in relation to other employee life cycle events, such as appraisals, maternity, etc
  • Process travel expenses, inputting invoices into SAP
  • HR admin and ad-hoc HR projects as/when required

Skills & Experience:
  • Previous HR Administration experience essential
  • A good working knowledge of HR practices and procedures
  • Experience using Workday, SAP payroll essential
  • Confident IT user being particularly familiar using MS Office packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
