Job Summary:

The Training Curriculum Developer is responsible for increasing employee engagement by creating learning material/curriculum, which is fun, easy to use and understandable.

This position will be primarily responsible for building a training curriculum around our FileVine software but will also collaborate with Human Resources and the IT Department for other training to further other training initiatives

The Training Curriculum Developer will also prepare educational material such as training modules, summaries, videos, etc., support, and mentor DLF employees that we have designated as trainers and super users and conduct training evaluations to identify areas where improvement is needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management to identify corporate training needs
• Plan and implement an effective training curriculum
• Assist with the development of the training curriculum, modules, and training materials.
• Assist with the conversion of the training curriculum and training materials into an online training system (LMS).
• Coordinate and conduct “Train the Trainer” training to develop trainers.
• Provide input for improvements to the overall training program and training curriculum.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of department training matrices.
• Any other job duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.

• Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools

• Knowledge of curriculum design (classroom).

• Ability to adapt style and training depending on business and audience/classroom needs.

• Strong interpersonal, presentation and time management skills.

• The ability to break down complex materials to a level that is understood by all levels of experience and education.

• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or training certificate preferred, or experience as a trainer in a variety of environments.

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a curriculum developer and trainer.

Physical Requirements:

• Sedentary work with prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk working on a computer.
