We are dedicated to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products to our customers, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team.

Position Overview : As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination of shipping and production schedules.

You will work closely with our production and sales departments to optimize logistics operations, schedule deliveries, and maintain inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities : Coordination with Production and Sales : Collaborate with the production and sales teams to synchronize shipping and production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.

Supervision : Oversee and supervise a team of one logistics coordinator, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.

Scheduling Deliveries : Schedule and coordinate deliveries from vendors to ensure a steady supply of raw materials and components for production.

Optimizing Shipping : Plan and arrange shipments, utilizing full truck loads and Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipping methods, while optimizing cost-effectiveness and delivery timelines.

Inventory Management : Work closely with the production team to plan manufacturing runs, ensuring that an adequate supply of materials and components is available for production runs.

Technology Utilization : Leverage your computer proficiency to effectively use logistics software and systems for tracking shipments, inventory management, and scheduling.

Communication : Maintain strong communication with all relevant stakeholders, including vendors, production teams, and sales departments, to anticipate and meet their logistical needs.

Requirements : Computer savvy, with proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with various teams.

Ability to anticipate and plan for upcoming logistical challenges. Previous experience in logistics management is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule : Hours : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM Reason for Opening : This position is available due to the current logistics manager relocating out of state.
