We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join the team on a permanent basis, so keep reading:
Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be a key part of a small but perfectly formed high performing internal talent acquisition team, responsible for partnering with your stakeholders; providing consultative and transactional recruitment support, ensuring delivery of their hiring needs in a timely manner. You will proactively engage with and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, delivering a professional service to the business that results in the sourcing of high calibre talent to meet our long-term objectives and add to our company values, beliefs and culture whilst delivering a positive candidate experience
Your role in a nutshell:

• Partnering with hiring managers, integrating yourself into your business area(s) to identify current and future hiring needs, understand skills required for each position, ensure job descriptions and adverts capture role requirements and a hiring plan is agreed
• Proactively design and implement innovative recruiting strategies/campaigns; adopting a modern, solution orientated and effective approach to promoting the Hippo brand and culture for the attraction of high calibre talent against ongoing requirements
• Liaising with the Head of Talent Acquisition and the Portfolio Leads on future talent demand to facilitate and enable the development of proactive attraction plans and talent pipelines aligned to business requirements
• Ensuring all candidates receive an excellent candidate experience, regardless of the outcome of their application, providing updates and feedback at all stages of their journey with Hippo
• Engaging with and managing the relationship with external suppliers working on recruitment activity, ensuring they are ambassadors of the Hippo brand, working as an extension of our Talent Acquisition Team, providing best standards of delivery and the highest quality of candidates
• Attending external recruitment and sector related conferences, webinars and networking events to identify initiatives for continuous improvement of the Hippo recruitment process and self-development opportunities

Skills and experience that you need

You will need:

• Previous experience in a talent acquisition role from an agency, RPO or in-house background
• Digital/Tech industry experience is advantageous
• Demonstrable experience of leading professional recruitment campaigns with demanding timescales
• A demonstrable keen networker with a thirst for knowledge and an ability to influence key stakeholders using specialist knowledge gained through market insights and research, driving continuous improvement activities
• A strong understanding of the impact of a great candidate experience and having delivered this directly and via your stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and MI tools
• Strong experience of recruitment best practice and legislative requirements
