Role Overview

The role reports directly to, and works closely in collaboration with, the Head of Product and the wider business. You will take requests and problems presented by Hinterview stakeholders and design solutions for them as well as taking a proactive approach and suggesting improvements and delight moments. You will take on user research, UX and UI responsibilities while working closely with the Engineering teams to deliver pragmatic yet ‘wow’ solutions to our users. In addition you will interact closely with users, company founders, sales, customer success and customer operations to gain an in-depth understanding of the platform, company and vision as well as the recruitment process, key pain points in the process and recruiters’ jobs to be done.

You will be the in-house expert and owner of design and are therefore expected to advocate and explain best-in-class design practices.

We are looking for someone with advanced skills in design and at least intermediate knowledge of UX research. Whilst we provide training on the platform and industry you must also be self-motivated, performs tasks with little assistance and act as a guide for other team members.

· Approximately 5 years in a Design role

· Trained in UI and UX methodologies

· Design work on a digital product, ideally SAAS B2B

Interview Process

1. Screening Call to assess suitability and portfolio review

2. Video interview with the Head of product, Head of Engineering and CTO

3. Final interview (face to face) with the opportunity to present to the Head of product, Head of Engineering, CTO and Co-founder.
