Hint Inc. Hiring for Area Sales Manager, Charlotte at Charlotte, NC Full Time

As an Area Sales Manager in Charlotte, your role will be to represent Hint to retailers and promote our beverage products to consumers. You will develop new business by visiting stores and ensuring the availability and prominence of our products on shelves. You will also oversee and support all aspects of the sales cycle, including the management of existing sales accounts (Walmart, Publix, & Target. Full service on Target), as well as the development and signing of new accounts.

The area of coverage will include the greater Charlotte Metro Area, some out-of-town travel as needed (60-90min away), and same-day return.

This role will have no direct s, initally with the possibility to add on once the territory is established.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a sales expert for the region and be a key contributor to the Hint water retail sales team
• Maintain and grow important existing accounts (Walmart, Publix, & Target. Full service on Target) by developing relationships with key stakeholders. Your goals are to sell in additional SKUs, additional facings, and new placements, and to create other opportunities to grow Hint volume
• Monitor status by consistently using CRM tools such as Repsly
• Participate in weekly sales calls to highlight successes, discuss challenges, and understand company-wide strategies
• Manage KPI’s for the region
• Identify and acquire new accounts and facilitate growth initiatives at all national and regional retail outlets in the territory
• Cross-functional activation upon need
• Provide recommendations for additional distribution/ regional chain requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of progressive sales experience (CPG preferred)
• Willing and able to start at your first store by 7:30am
• Prior experience managing a team is preferred as this role could have swift growth potential
• Prior experience with retail accounts preferred
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with quotas and goals
• Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• A clean driving record is a must because this position will drive a company vehicle

Benefits

• The Base Salary range is $55,000 – $65,000. Actual salary offer may vary based on location and work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
