Responsibilities

As a Talent Development Lead with Hines, you will coordinate and facilitate a diverse offering of learning & development programs on a global scale to support the Hines business strategy. You will be actively involved in many facets of the learning function as well as provide L&D support to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and coordinate learning programs and events that address the development needs and priorities of Hines and our employees including orientation training assignments, ongoing professional development, job skills training, DEI, and compliance training
• Facilitate courses and other developmental outreach in both virtual and traditional classroom settings
• Design and develop learning resources according to adult learning theory and industry best practices; resources may include e-learning courses, presentation decks, job aids, and discussion guides
• Utilize Cornerstone (LMS) to manage courses/deliver; this includes, but is not limited to, setting up sessions, establishing email content & cadence, and managing rosters
• Identify and apply new technology and novel approaches to drive content and programs relevance and industry best-practices and standards
• Work with Talent Development team to coordinate and host the Hines company-wide management orientation conference (MOP)
• Partner and collaborate with the Talent Development team to develop and increase program offering, while elevating overall utilization and employee experience
• Partner with the DEI team to coordinate and deliver educational outreach across the firm
• Performing other tasks that fit your professional skills and interests and our ever-shifting needs

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development or related field from an accredited institution or equivalent additional years of experience
• Five or more years of increasing responsibility in a corporate L&D function, including facilitation experience
• Instructional design experience for both instructor-led and e-learning environments
• Two or more years of experience working with DEI initiatives within a corporate setting
• Global Talent Development delivery experience preferred
• High degree of comfort and ability using tools such as Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel; Powtoon and other presentation/graphics software, such as Publisher; Learning Management Systems, preferably Cornerstone OnDemand
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate and present in a highly engaging manner; ability to adapt approach to participants’ needs
• Strong ability to take complex and emerging concepts and present them in the learners’ context in written, visual, and verbal forms
• Experience in project management and adept at managing multiple projects with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to apply and leverage technology to analyze and anticipate L&D performance needs, KPIs and future client demand

• Ability to lift up to 25lbs

• Work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
