Hilton Transportation is Looking for Warehouse Manager (FT) Full Time

Hilton Transportation is currently looking for a Warehouse Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible in overseeing the operations in Brampton warehouse and ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. In addition, the successful candidate will have a significant role in working closely with dispatchers and drivers that all incoming and outgoing trucks are being scheduled appropriately.

The Warehouse Manager will have the following responsibilities but not limited to:
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with dispatchers and drivers to ensure efficient pick-up and delivery of freights.
  • Be able to successfully load and offload trucks as per the dispatcher’s instructions.
  • Train and manage the warehouse team in proper loading and offloading of freights, solving day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Handle proper documentation of the freights.
  • Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
  • Manage the inventory properly, conduct daily and monthly storage count.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and organize.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
  • Other tasks assigned by the management.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years’ warehouse management experience in trucking industry.
  • Minimum 5 years’ inventory management experience.
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Has strong forklift operator skill.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have own means of transportation.
  • Must be willing to work on evening, holidays, or weekends if needed.
