What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets, and software.
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Receiving and recording cash and cheques.
  • Producing a variety of reports including invoices and HST report.
  • Checking for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings.
  • Managing transactions for cash and cheques with banks.
  • Interacting with management, customers, and vendors.
  • Keeping record of all financial transactions and organizing it.

At a minimum, you’ll need:
  • 2 years of related accounting work experience.
  • Strong computer and typing skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A solid book of contacts in the industry.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
