As Talent Executive, you will be responsible for driving recruitment and retention activities at Hilton Sydney. In this role you will actively recruit, succession plan, and develop talent whilst fostering a great place to work culture.

What will I be doing?

• Work closely with hiring managers to ensure recruitment criteria is relevant and meeting the needs of the department/hotel.
• Follow the identified process to screen candidates, including use of any pre-approved recruitment assessments, to qualify for hiring manager interviews.
• Create a suite of recruitment templates and job ads that are professional, engaging and appropriate to the local market to attract the best internal and external candidates.
• Promptly create and send Offers of Employment to candidates employing same day hire where possible
• Identify the best places to advertise opportunities including social media platforms, job boards or publications including university and school magazines.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with key source markets including, Schools, Universities, and Work Experience facilitators to ensure Hilton Sydney is positioned well for prospective candidates
• Prepare summary reports on recruitment activities to update the business on the candidate market and celebrate recruitment success.
• Establish a credible list of all next in line Hilton candidates to support our direction of promotion from within to help team members achieve their career dreams and aspirations.
• Ensure a Talent Bank is maintained to engage prospective candidates proactively and reduce the hiring time and onboarding process
• Assist with identifying skills gaps and Learning and Development needs, facilitating as needed
• Conduct exit interviews, maintain a record of results, and utilize feedback to improve the team member experience.
• Plan culture activities including Team Member Appreciation Week and Global Month or Service
