ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
Manage and direct the development, recording, analysis and reporting of all financial/statistical data for the Whitehall Operations within planned budget constraints, serving plant management in an advisory/consultant capacity concerning accounting and financial matters.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor’s degree in business administration with an accounting major is required. A minimum of 5 years of industrial accounting is preferred. At least 2 years of supervisory experience is also required. CPA is desirable.
Cost accounting experience and automotive supplier background is essential.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Ensure that corporate and divisional accounting policies and procedures are followed.
2. Manage the daily recording, reporting and analysis of results of financial data to meet plant and corporate requirements and goals (including full trial balance responsibility).
3. Provide assistance to the VP of Operations and his staff in financial analysis, interpretation and guidance.
4. Prepare an annual operating plan for the plant that fulfills corporate objectives.
5. Serve as primary liaison between the plant and its external/internal auditors.
6. Provide for the development and training of the plant financial staff to insure competency with current techniques and developments.
7. Responsible for the protection of plant assets to include: physical assets; legitimacy of disbursements; correct billing of product/sample shipments; and collection of accounts receivables in accordance with terms/conditions.
8. Establish assessed values for property tax purposes in appropriate counties including interfacing with appropriate tax authorities and development of tax abatement data to assure minimum liabilities.
9. Assist VP of Operations and staff in an advisory capacity and in the development of specific project data and develop quote template for new business opportunities.
10. Develop data in satisfaction of federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
11. Develop data in connection with corporate reporting for employee benefits programs.
12. Prepare a detailed three-month forecast of operations (complete P&L) and balance sheet each quarter.
13. Primarily accountable for achievement of plant working capital and cash flow objectives.
14. Coordinate all aspects of the capital equipment procurement function including the financial evaluation of requests and the subsequent monitoring of project performance.
15. Administer the cost accounting function leading to the proper development, evaluation, and reporting of the cost structure for plant operations.
16. Administer the expense/budget program for the operations.
17. Travel to other Company locations to conduct business.
18. Maintain compliance with Company policies, safety rules, and good housekeeping standards.
19.
