Your new role
To partner the organisation to understand the talent acquisition requirements in the short, medium and long term, ensuring that talent acquisition strategies are put in place across attraction and selection to deliver the right people at the right time to the organisation. Manage the end to end recruitment of senior hires providing an excellent candidate experience.
What you’ll be leading on
- Work with Senior HR Business Partners and workforce planning to understand the short, medium and long-term talent acquisition requirements.
- Translate talent acquisition requirements into attraction and selection strategies that meet the needs of your directorates.
- Work with the resourcing team to provide a pipeline of work linked to workforce planning, supporting them in understanding the best routes to markets.
- Lead on designing resourcing campaigns working with the resourcing team and Talent Specialist to deliver the campaigns.
- Own and manage the end to end process for senior recruitment.
- Keep stakeholders update on talent acquisition by attending regular meetings, providing reports and presentations.
- Interpret data to inform strategies and to make recommendations for improvements.
- Work with the Talent Specialist to understand succession plans and where there is a need to recruit externally. Understand the external market, market mapping and talent pipeline to minimise the effects of any succession gaps.
- Lead and support on wider talent acquisition projects.
- Build talent pipelines to meet the future capability requirements in your directorate, ensuring that candidates are effectively communicated with and informed on future roles.
- Provide excellent candidate and stakeholder engagement, suggesting and implementing improvements that will continuously build the level customer service.
- Act as a subject matter expert providing advice and guidance to line managers and the resourcing team across all areas of talent acquisition.
To be successful you’ll need
- Experience of using workforce planning to inform talent acquisition forward planning
- Experience as a business partner delivering end to end talent acquisition/resourcing strategies
- Experience of designing and delivering attraction and selection strategies
- Experience of improving talent acquisition processes or similar projects
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders and driving capability improvement in stakeholders
