Highmark Communications Hiring for Logistics Specialist at Denver, CO Full Time

Duties:

– Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
– Oversee order fulfillment process, including inventory management and stock replenishment.
– Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with logistics equipment or machinery.
– Monitor profit loss and implement cost-saving measures to optimize logistics operations.
– Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
– Coordinate dispatching of shipments and track delivery progress to ensure on-time arrivals.
– Manage contracts with logistics service providers and negotiate favorable terms and rates.
– Stay updated on industry trends and developments, particularly in e-commerce and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
– Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding efficient solutions.
– Proficient in using logistics software and systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
– Knowledge of vendor management principles and best practices.
– Familiarity with contract management and negotiation processes.
– Mechanical knowledge to handle any equipment-related issues that may arise.
– Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
– Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and service providers.
