Job Description :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist with the versatility to handle HR generalist tasks as part of our growing team at Highland Pellets.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and attracting top talent to support our company’s growth and success while also assisting with various HR functions.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing needs and objectives.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and industry networking.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to offer negotiation.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future positions.
• Assist with HR generalist tasks such as employee onboarding, HR policy enforcement, and employee relations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and HR.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of the forestry or energy industry is a bonus.
