THE DEPARTMENT
The busy and dynamic Admissions team are responsible for leading and co ordinating the admission of pupils to Highgate’s over-subscribed Pre-Prep, Junior and Senior Schools, work which is crucial for the ongoing success of the school. Led by the Head of Admissions, the team consists of 6 members who each have clear responsibilities yet work collaboratively as a team. We work closely with the Communications team as well as the leadership teams across all three schools.
THE ROLE
You will be leading our Admissions process for 4+ applicants, working closely with families of applicants, carefully leading them through the application process. In addition to your main admissions entry point, you will be expected to take responsibility for specific areas within admissions as needed, acting as the team lead, spearheading relevant training and projects as appropriate. This may include managing data and supporting SEND applicants. Further details may be discussed at interview.
You will have excellent administrative, communication and customer service skills to ensure that all applicants have a positive experience of the school, whether successful or not. Calm and organised, you will be a people-person with a flexible, pro-active and can-do approach. Previous experience of an educational admissions process would be a distinct advantage.
You will be working closely with the Head of Admissions, the Principal and Academic Deputy Principal in the Pre-Prep, the Marketing Manager and of course your colleagues in the Admissions Team.
