As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. With a proven track record of successful sales support activity, the Systems Engineer will present and articulate the capabilities and values of an Aruba Solution versus our competitors. You will work closely with Aruba’s Territory Account Managers to qualify opportunities and convert leads into successful engagements.

To succeed in this role, you will combine your excellent sales ability, and consultative skills with a solid understanding of advanced and emerging technologies with an emphasis on secure wireless and Virtual Branch Networking. The Systems Engineer will team with an assigned Territory Account Manager to provide presentations and demonstrations and will proactively support an opportunity pipeline to drive potential opportunities through the sales process to closure. You will be required to work in a team environment and to collaborate on the development of innovative, tailored solutions for clients and prospects. You must be savvy in gathering client data required to effectively tailor a solution.

In a typical day as a Systems Engineer, you would:

• Direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned territory.
• Providing a solution that is the optimum combination of hardware, software, and services to meet the prospect’s needs.
• Configuring complex hardware and software solutions.
• Playing a key role in the development of the bid and proposal and presenting the solution to the prospect.
• Provide specific solutions/technology/ product consulting, technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.
• Working with vendor partners to help drive business and deliver demand generation events
• Maintain account relationships over time to continue to deliver advice to the client and identify additional opportunities; maintain and manage a sales pipeline and forecasts against regional goals.

About You:

• Bringing 8 plus years’ experience in a similar position with Pre-Sales Experience.
• Aruba Certifications, or relevant networking vendor certifications, are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum 5 years of infrastructure engineering 3+ years’ experience with successful pre-sales support.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a customer focused mindset.
• Proven ability to manage and resolve solutions to complex technical issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills, and ability to interface to senior levels of an organization is required.
• Ability to multitask and work independently toward stated business goals as well being a team player.
