Programme Manager – Security/Compliance

This position will work within the CDS Business Unit to enhance our cybersecurity posture. This role will help to ensure that business and engineering teams are knowledgeable of security requirements, are actively engaged in projects to address gaps and are working toward remediation and closure of said gaps. The ideal candidate must have expert abilities to understand and interpret industry, business and contractual compliance requirements. This individual will require subject matter expertise and be able to make informed inputs based on project and technology related mitigation. The individual will be responsible for providing open and meaningful business-oriented recommendations on relative risks to HPE and working to ensure that remediation plans are developed and executed.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and leading programs involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a product or service offering.
• Development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.
• Managing activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
• Communication of program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaboration with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules
• You will help to drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing and/or engineering organization.
• You will lead and provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
• You will consolidate various requirements and priorities into a unified actionable roadmap for compliance milestones and drive the execution across multiple cross-functional teams
• You will collect and manage evidence for audits
• You will work with other teams such as Engineering, IT, and Cyber Security to ensure compliance across the organization

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related curriculum.
• Profession certification (CISSP, CISA, GSEC, or equivalent)

• PMP/PMI certification would be preferred.
• 6+ years’ experience in security, with a focus on compliance or risk.
• Demonstrated experience with one or more security control standards or regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001/2, COBIT, NIST, HIPAA, PCI, etc.).
• You will have extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
• Ideally, you would have experience working in a security compliance organization at a large fortune 50 company.
