Heuser Hearing Institute (HHI) is a non-profit multi-specialty campus that serves the needs of children and adults with disorders of hearing and balance. The organization has been serving Louisville and surrounding communities in Kentucky and Indiana since 1948. The institute includes the Heuser Hearing & Language Academy, the Heuser Hearing Clinic, and the Heuser Early Intervention Program, which serves infants and toddlers through the Kentucky and Indiana First Steps programs.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Patient Care Coordinator at Heuser Hearing Institute. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for appointment scheduling, phone etiquette, care coordination, medical terminology, and patient care.

Qualifications

• Appointment scheduling and phone etiquette skills
• Experience with care coordination and medical terminology
• Patient care experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, a plus but not required
