MACHINE OPERATOR

Production Department – Main Office, Harrisburg, PA

Shifts Monday-Friday

• First Shift: 5:00am to approximately 2:30pm
• Second Shift: 2:00pm to approximately 11:00pm

Job Summary

• 
  Consistent Schedule – Average a 45-50 hour workweek each week, Monday through Friday
• 
  Shift Options – choose between our Rotating Shift or Second Shift-Only option
• 
  Consistent Overtime Pay – overtime after 40 hours each week
• Start at $20.90/hr – Earn $21.53per hour after training period – $32.30 per hour per OT hour

Job Responsibilities

• Join our Operator Development Program – a built in training and development program focused on upskilling and advancement
• Perform various duties including, but not limited to; safe operation of production and packaging machinery, proper handling and mixing of ingredients, and moving and/or stacking materials and equipment
• Perform at reasonable speeds, taking full advantage of the equipment available
• Observe all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and good housekeeping practices
• Act with quality, safety, and teamwork in mind at all times
• Maintains an understanding of the flow of work on the production floor, from staging to production to storage
• Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by Supervisors or Plant Management

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age, with a High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes
• Experience or training in manufacturing/food manufacturing or supply-chain environment is preferred
• Must be able to work pre-scheduled Day or Night shifts; schedules created with plenty of notice and are mostly day shift
• Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions with high level of detail
• Physical requirements: ability to work 8+ hour shifts, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time, perform repetitive motions, and work in an environment with varying temperatures
