Heritage School Hiring for Teacher of English Job at Cambridge, East of England, England Full Time

Heritage School is seeking urgently to appoint a new part-time (approximately 48%) Teacher of IGCSE English. This is a short-term adoption leave contract lasting up to February 2023, with the potential for a permanent contract.

The start date for this position is as soon as possible, from Monday 21 February. All candidates interested in working at Heritage School either immediately, from the start of the summer term, or from the start of the autumn term are encouraged to apply.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 23rd February, with interviews the following week.

The role involves teaching a total of 16x 45 minute lessons per week to pupils in Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11. Teaching times are fixed for this academic year, as follows: Mondays between 0850-1600, Wednesdays between 0850-1600, Fridays between 1130-1600. There is scope to adjust the timetable for the academic year 2022-23.

The role is suited to a qualified teacher with experience teaching English to the GCSE level.
