Position: E-commerce Manager

Department: Marketing

Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm PST

Location: Remote

Summary: This position is responsible This position is responsible for supporting the company sales activities through strategic planning, DTC and E-commerce: Optimization, Traffic, Sales and positioning. In addition, managing ad spend and ROI goals across platforms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: include the following, other duties may be assigned:

• Responsible for the delivery of revenue and performance of targets to the brands business via Amazon and other 3rd party platforms
• This role will be responsible for forecast accuracy, supply meeting Amazon requirements (in partnership with supply chain) and KPI optimization (traffic, conversion, basket, retention, profitability).

• Serve as a key contact for all Amazon related media activity and lead daily interaction of the Amazon business to maintain profitability, sales growth, and customer satisfaction.

• This position will articulate the key needs and opportunities of Amazon back to the broader organization, as well as translate the brand and product strategies into winning Amazon plans.
• The E-commerce Manager is an excellent cross functional team member and works effectively with other teams to drive sales on our digital channels while providing an exceptional UI for our customers and consumers.
• The E-commerce Manager will be accountable for digital shopper marketing excellence and will oversee all ad channels either directly or through external contractors.
• Conduct and manage search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO)
• Optimization of all products and services on all digital channels. Provides recommendations on organization, cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
• Analyzes raw data, draws conclusions, and provides data-driven insights to team and leadership to inform strategy and meet KPI’s.

• Plan and manage the execution of Amazon sponsored products campaigns and promotion, articulating the key needs of Amazon media back to the Director of Marketing.

• Leads site reliability and performance testing. Manage and review the security of checkout pages and payment procedures.

• Identify promotional opportunities and develop promotional calendars.
• Develop and maintain product pages and sales forecast, manage the customer service relationship and monitor seller rating.

• Works with back-end developers to ensure cohesion and compliance with all digital sales systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally.
• Takes ownership and is proactive in learning and delivering excellence.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality as they come into contact with proprietary and sensitive documents and information.
• Excellent research, troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Ability to exercise judgement and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience working in the Natural products industry, with herbal focus preferred but not required.
• Assist with efficient team operation and continuous process improvement, by participating actively in all team and departmental meetings as requested.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing operational and/or project financial budgets.
• Experience with executing online digital campaigns.
• 3-5 years of experience in two or more of the following: e-commerce, brand management, program management and at least 2 years of which includes directly managing Amazon business strategies including digital media budget.
• 3+ years of experience in translating business strategy into successful ecommerce and DTC marketing campaigns.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Experienced with implementing digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media and affiliate channels.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to quickly organize and communicate thoughts, and to understand communications from others. Ability to maintain composure, listen and respond appropriately.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information. Ability to articulate and present ideas and solutions to companies, clients, and employers. Strong attention to detail with solid knowledge of grammar and punctuation and ability to proofread accurately and consistently.
