Position Overview: We are seeking a Front Office Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. The Front Office Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the overall efficiency of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures
- Check out patients and collect copays
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient calendars
- Answer phones, triage calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with billing questions
- Maintain electronic health records accurately and confidentially
- Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient experiences
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health record (EHR) preferably AthenaOne
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
