The job – This is a generalist role which will provide a dedicated HR service to all employees and managers. We are looking for an individual who can deliver guidance and support in a professional and helpful way. You will act as first line assistance to all colleagues, providing advice and supporting managers on a range of employment issues, including conditions of service and employee benefits, discipline, grievance, performance management and absence management. You will run the HR operation at this location, while being part of a larger HR team around the globe.

Alongside maintenance and organisation of the HR systems and leading the recruitment lifecycle, there may be additional administration duties. A willingness for a ‘hands on’ approach within our small team is essential.

Your skills / experience –

• Well organised, have strong attention to detail plus excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge and understanding of employment issues in line with legislation, conditions of service and HR best practice.
• Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information.

• Confident and able to use resources wisely. Able to interact with team in various time zones
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams.

• Experience with data systems and an excitement to partake in being on the ground floor of an HR/Payroll integration is a plus

• Must be a self-starter and able to create own systems. Able to prioritise workload, manage own time and deal with conflicting priorities.

• A team player, with the ability to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively

• CIPD level 3 or above or qualified with equivalent level of experience.

Salary: £20,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
