POSITION: Customer Service Representative LOCATION: Zurich

Hensall Co-op is seeking a dynamic induvial to become an integral member of our team! This position is full-time, working out of the Zurich Feed Mill. In this position you will be responsible for the promotion and development of counter, telephone, and electronic feed sales and store products for the Hensall Co-op feed mill locations as a first point of contact for customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain customer files, preparing, processing feed orders, and filing paperwork
• Assist customers with inquiries, concerns, and orders both over the phone and in person
• Assist incoming ingredient drivers
• Prepare feed summaries
• Maintain positive public and member relationships and coordinate with outside vendors
• Counter sales and promotions for customers
• Answer phone and respond to email
• Assist customers with finding and loading product when needed
• Ensure the location office area is clean and that store displays are maintained and presentable
• Assist manager with HACCP and safety programs for the location
• Follow procedures for compliance with CFIA requirements
• General administrative/clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mail etc.

Job Requirements:

• Understanding of livestock feed and feed mill operations or willingness to learn
• Knowledge of HACCP and safety procedures or willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superior customer service
• Basic accounting, invoicing, and inventory experience
• Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Suite
• Knowledge of animal health products and usages/applications

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary education in an office administration or agricultural related program is an asset
• 3+ years of previous experience in a similar position
• Previous experience in an agricultural field is an asset
