As our Transportation Supervisor, you will over-see all aspects of product delivery including loadout, shipping of live birds and route efficiency against plan. Additionally, you have fleet responsibilities which include preventative maintenance programs and sanitation. Our customers range in size from whole truckload quantities to smaller split loads with several drops per trailer. Hauling live animals requires time and attention of all our third-party drivers and they’ll be looking to you for leadership, coaching and support. Our company will look to you to create a culture of continuous improvement in an atmosphere that is fun!
Ensuring all pre and post trips are completed on time and to standard is an important part of your daily duties. When issues are identified, the team of drivers will rely on you to get trailers repaired through our third-party mechanics as needed so that it can get back out on the road for the next run. You’ll also get to ride along with drivers from time to time, ensuring company policies and procedures are met and that drivers are maintaining great customer service.
