Job Snapshot

As the Senior Training and Development Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing, executing and maintaining the Technical Operations organization’s employee facing processes. You will own organizational design, new employee processes including interviewing and onboarding, employee development, and review process development and improvement. This role will require an understanding of the departments’ processes, standards, and policies, and how to introduce and implement them within the team as well as coordination with the HR, legal, Learning and Development, and Talent Acquisition departments.

You will…

• Review our existing processes, standards and policies and work with the department heads to ensure that they are accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive.
• Work with the department heads to create new processes, standards and policies for the Technical Operations department.
• Develop material for onboarding new members of the Technical Operations organization and implement rollout of this standard onboarding process. Coordinate with the team and any necessary additional departments to onboard new employees.
• Develop an onboarding strategy for new site launches and implement rollout of this process.
• Develop and manage any department processes pertaining to personnel onboarding, growth, and/or development.
• Manage and mentor program manager(s) who support the employee facing processes as they are created.
• Mentor and train department leaders on employee facing processes.
• Work with the department to identify areas where additional processes or resources are needed. Develop the necessary resources to support the team.
• Oversee management of the department’s Learning Management System.
• Interface with department leadership to anticipate future needs of the department and support our growth.
• Be an active partner in supporting the people of the department.

You have…

• 5+ years’ experience in HR, talent acquisition, employee relations, or other employee facing roles with significant experience coordinating and running cross-functional meetings with various business partners
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required
• Awareness and understanding of HR policies, legal requirements, and other employee facing needs when implementing new processes
• Familiarity with Outlook / Google Suite including calendars, meetings,and Google Drive and ability to adapt to various technology platforms to coordinate onboarding
• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of new employees
• Knowledge in GMP/TPM/LEAN and strong continuous improvement and project/program management skills
• Comfortable working in cold environments with some areas of facility at 40F
• Excitement for working in a start-up environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
• High level of integrity and ethics with excellent follow-through
• Ability to travel up to 50%
