Heirloom Hospitality Is currently seeking a Training & Recruitment Coordinator!

The Training & Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for enhancing Heirloom’s mission by identifying and successfully onboarding future team members who align with our Core Values. This role will help strengthen the culture and retention throughout the organization by laying a strong foundation and setting new hires up for success with all the tools that are needed to do so.

Working in collaboration with executive leadership you will be responsible for developing and managing systems for recruiting management talent to Heirloom, onboarding new Managers with an engaging orientation, and supporting restaurant leaders in best hiring and staffing practices.

Led by the Director of Culture & Team Leadership you will implement the training processes across existing and new stores and assist in content development as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the hospitality industry (Or a willingness to learn!)
• At least one year of experience as an HR assistant or recruiting assistant/coordinator
• Experience in training and coaching others
• Must be self-motivated, punctual, resourceful, and disciplined
• Ability to relate to people of all levels and personalities while remaining professional
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Ability to work independently, ask great questions and escalate concerns appropriately

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding
• Help develop and implement consistent process and procedures for staff onboarding
• Facilitate Cultural Orientation for new Leaders and coordinate their training schedule using Heirloom Hospitality process and procedures
• Screen staff candidates for initial interviews. Coordinate with restaurant management on interviews for staff-level candidates.
• Recruit and screen management candidates, conducting initial interview and manage recruitment process through on-site shadow with GM/EC and interview with Executive Leadership.
• Lead career fairs both off-site at colleges & universities and within Heirloom restaurants supported by Marketing.
• Prepare and distribute management offer letters and coordinate necessary follow-up with executive leadership.
• With Director of Operations support training initiatives to management teams on new process and systems implemented companywide.
• Develop and maintain employee referral programs for Heirloom team members.
• Provide tactical HR support when requested, focused on discovery, reporting and follow-up as required.
• Working with the Director of Culture & Team Leadership, develop a management training and internship program for Heirloom.
• Working with the General Manager & Executive Chef lead recruitment efforts and onboarding process for new store openings.
• With Marketing, coordinate materials required for recruitment and training at new store openings, career fairs and on-site tools for recruitment.
• Support new store openings with on-site training and coaching
• Develop metrics for evaluating staffing levels as they relate to sales generation that is reported across the organization weekly.
• With the Director of Operations set and track budgets for training expenses across all Heirloom properties.
• Coordinate with restaurant management to ensure all training materials are presented and prepared to set standards for employee onboarding and orientation.
• Identify Lead Trainers in each location and assist in their development with quarterly team building.
• Collaborate with the Director of Culture & Team Leadership to create training materials and systems and assist with content updates as needed.
• Help identify training opportunities.
• Train GMs/Managers on how to conduct Team Member Orientations using Heirloom Hospitality Process and procedures.
