HeimLantz CPAs & Advisors is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. This professional is responsible for helping our clients obtain Timely, Accurate and Meaningful data that will help them make strategic decisions about their businesses.

This position will collaborate with clients and our staff of CPAs to maximize the value of the services provided and create a proactive approach to help the clients’ strategic goals.

We seek individuals with:

· Advanced knowledge in bookkeeping software including QuickBooks, Peachtree, Sage and the ability to learn new bookkeeping platforms and applications such as Xero, Intacct, and Bill.com among others.

· The ability to create financial reports for clients and internal team members including but not limited to; budgets, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow/forecasting.

· The skills to understand the larger picture of each client, not just “enter the numbers”.

· Experience with Government Contractors a plus but not required.

The best candidate for this role will:

· Demonstrate ability to work independently and exhibit a high degree of comfort working with and learning new technology and software applications.

· Be highly organized and experienced prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.

This position will primarily work from home; however, the role does require occasional client on-site work in the MD-DC Metro area.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
