Hegira Health, Inc Hiring for Administrator of Substance Abuse Disorder Services Full Time

Hegira Health, Inc. (HHI), a private non-profit corporation, is one of the largest freestanding behavioral healthcare agencies in the area. HHI, accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Michigan, provides a broad array of mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services to individuals of all ages.

Oakdale Recovery Center (ORC) – provides withdrawal management and short-term residential treatment services to adults with substance use disorders, many whom have mental health disorders as well. Average LOS is 3 days for WD and 14 days for residential treatment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, specializing in psychology, social work, counseling, or other related human services field
• Current, appropriate licensure/certification issued by the State of Michigan
• CCS (CCS-DP) credential
• Five years’ experience in the behavioral health field
• Three years of supervisory experience in a SUD setting
• Experience with personnel and facility management, data, risk-management, program development, quality improvement initiatives, and evidenced-based practices

.RESPONSIBILITIES (summary):

• Staffing, assignments, performance monitoring, scheduling of ORC Leadership
• Team – Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatrist, Physician’s Assistant (PA), Recovery Coach Supervisor, Peer Recovery Coach Coordinator, Office Manager, Intake Coordinator, Daily Operations Coordinator, clinician staff

Clinical Management

• Provides clinical and operational oversight of Oakdale Recovery Center
• Recommend clinical content of program
• Oversee implementation of clinical quality of care
• Ensure clinical program and delivery of services meets payor expectations
• Ensure efficient, effective workflow and structured schedule meeting all clinical, quality and financial goals

Facility Management

• Serve as liaison to landlord, HHI Purchasing, food/meal vendor
• Monitors and ensures safety of facilities within and outside of Oakdale building

Fiscal Management

• Participate in annual budgetary process
• Ensure adherence to FY budget by monitoring expenditures to maintain budgetary limitations
• Lead and or assist with RFPs, grant applications, securing additional sources of funding, etc.
• Monitor and ensure daily census meets or exceeds budget goals

Ongoing

• Regular Meeting Attendance, including but not limited to payer provider meetings, HHI quality management meetings
• Coordinate and facilitate payer audits
• Develop, submit, and monitor outcomes of corrective action plans/plans for improvement, as required
• Serve as liaison to IT between ORC, IT, and Administration
• Make training recommendations in keeping with payer expectations and or new programming plans/opportunities
• Coordinate with QMD changes to ORC policy and procedures

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Following CDC guidelines. Monitoring symptoms for all staff and patients on site. Additional cleaning and sanitizing in place. Social distancing is monitored. Telehealth is used to provide access and distance without contact.
