Key Accountabilities

To lead the team to deliver agreed Business Outcomes that support the achievement of the Heathrow Vision and Strategic Objectives. This will be achieved through:

• To provide first line specialist support to team members on policies and procedures
• To ensure delivery of month-end processes and month end reporting
• To provide financial rigour and control around key processes through the balance sheet review
• To provide specialist support and expert advice to Heathrow on the application and interpretation of Company policy and processes; in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
• To ensure all processes and controls are updated and followed.
• To contribute to core business drivers through the Balanced Business Scorecard (BBSC) framework and operational performance mechanisms.
• To contribute to the timely data capture of BSC operational performance measurements to validate operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• To support the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational performance standards.

Skills Required

• Knowledge and experience of Financial Accounting desirable
• Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
• Flexible, self-motivated team player, with ability to work on own initiative and without close supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of stakeholders both written and verbally, including ability to influence and persuade others
• Strong organisational skills, with ability to plan, prioritise and work to deadlines
• Experience of working in a fast-paced changing environment
