We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team and ensure guest satisfaction through efficient maintenance of our property and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong preventative maintenance background and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Position information : Full-Time, 18.00-20.00 hourly rate.

Responsibilities of our Engineering Technician :

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment per manufacturer specifications
• Daily inspection and adjustment of building systems including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Resolve maintenance issues in guestrooms and public spaces through repairs, painting, replacements as needed
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair duties
• Communicate supply needs and job status to supervisor
• Maintain appearance of building interior and exterior
• Adhere to all maintenance work order policies and procedures
• Greet guests and maintain high standards of excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• 2+ years building maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry and painting
• Skilled in use of hand and power tools
• Possession of required licenses / certificates
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Capability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Maintain professional appearance at all times
