Job Description:

The position is responsible for developing relationships and growing profitable sales within the territory by embodying our Mission. The primary areas of focus for the position include selling, promoting, merchandising, and implementing programs. The successful candidate will have contacts in the grocery industry, be motivated, goal oriented and be able to thrive in a fast, flexible and innovative culture. This candidate will be responsible for growing our portfolio of business at Kroger, Midwest, and Western accounts. This position will have a NAM or similar role as a direct which will help manage business through the Midwest and West. This position s into the Sr. Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve / exceed aggressive sales budget while maintaining a specific trade accrual plan
• Strategically plan for and manage account proposals, programs, promotions and timelines to ensure that sales opportunities are identified and properly pursued
• Develop new business by growing the retailer(s) portfolio of Splenda Brand products
• Provide Monthly s to management on key opportunities, new business, business at risk, market trends and competitive data. Track POS data within account and sales movement and trends while making corrective actions as needed
• Manage broker partners as required for account specific needs
• Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, competitive insights, and new business opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field

EXPERIENCE

· 5+ Years Sales/Marketing Experience with National Brands, must have selling experience at Kroger
