JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Talent Acquisition is a critical role at Hearthside Foods Solutions that will lead and implement the talent acquisition strategy across the organization, allowing us to attract top talent into the organization. The Director, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing strategic recruitment and employment programs and outcomes. The role is integral in shaping and evolving our recruiting and sourcing strategies and developing policies and processes to proactively meet the needs of the organization. The Director TA will lead a team of recruiters, based throughout the US and to the VP Talent and Org Development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development, delivery and execution of the talent acquisition strategy that will enable the acquisition of top talent into the organization.
• Partner as a talent advisor with internal partners by using an open, consultative, employee and customer-focused mindset to ensure HFS’ ability to attract the necessary talent.
• Encourage and elevate a team culture of agile methodology to drive a best-in-class candidate experience through a fast, adaptive, iterative recruiting approach, ensuring hyper-connectivity and transparency across multiple partner groups.
• Partner directly with the field HR leadership team to ensure a search plan is created and executed for all key roles.
• Directly lead recruitment for senior level positions, Director and above.
• Maintain a recruitment dashboard of key activity, proactively communicate and leverage the insights from the metrics to drive actions.
• Partner with the talent development team on building candidate pipelines for key succession roles.
• Develop and build strategy on the use of third-party search firms.
• Remain aware of trends in recruitment and staffing; create materials to help educate the field on the appropriate process for recruiting top talent
• Oversee the external branding of recruiting including external job descriptions, social media related to recruitment, and other job board postings; help design promotional materials related to recruitment
• Develop best in class recruiting practices and implement them within the team. Continue to assess and adjust practices as needed.
• Partner with HRIS team on optimizing ATS to ensure a great candidate experience.
• Lead the development and execution of a campus recruitment program.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Undergraduate Degree in related Business field; Graduate degree a plus
• 10+ years in progressive HR roles, including 3+ year in talent acquisition
• Experience as a generalist and specialty roles, ex. Talent acquisition.
• Experience with both manufacturing and corporate environments a plus
• PHR or SPHR certification a plus
