The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the selection process including understanding the detailed requirements of positions; sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates; and selecting diverse and qualified candidates collaboratively with the hiring manager for exempt positions. The Talent Acquisition Consultant focus on recruiting for positions in the Business Units, Operations and shared service functions including technology roles, leadership roles and niche roles.

• The Talent Acquisition Consultant works in strong partnership with HR Business Partners and their designated business unit leadership teams, ensuring hiring efforts are aligned with the business units’ strategic direction and responding to key strategic staffing initiatives as they arise.
• The Talent Acquisition Consultant leads a variety of recruiting related projects and collaborates on program development. Working with and reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this position is accountable for assuring all HR issues relating to the recruitment process are addressed and resolved.
• The Talent Acquisition Consultant acts as a brand ambassador for Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT). S/he represents HHT at public events such as career fairs and professional networking events. The incumbent builds relationships with community organizations, professional associations, as well as educational institutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of recruiting agency and/or corporate recruiting experience, including full lifecycle recruiting for geographically dispersed positions. Experience in other HR functional areas preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); familiarity of HR systems as they relate to talent acquisition.
• Proven success in building credibility with hiring managers and human resources business partners.
• Demonstrated knowledge of employment law related to talent acquisition practices/processes.
