Healthcare Training Leader Hiring for Email Marketing Specialist at Remote Full Time

As an email marketing specialist, you are an integral part of our team and will be responsible for creating, testing, and managing email campaigns. We are seeking an individual with a very strong eye for detail, a problem solver who enjoys working as part of a small team (where many individuals wear multiple hats) and who can accomplish tasks independently against strict deadlines.

Strong familiarity and experience in direct response marketing is preferred. We do not have a sales force, therefore, the emails you create will drive folks to take the desired action directly on our website. These actions include purchasing an online training, signing up for a free resource, or subscribing to our eNewsletter. Familiarity with both B2B batch and blast emails, as well as opt-in emails, will make you a great fit for this role.

You will to the Head of Marketing and work closely with most teams in the company (content, data, website, etc.). You will not be required to write copy for this role.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the email calendar looking at least 3 weeks ahead (this will require data analysis skills and strategic thinking)
• Create 2-4 emails daily (many can be replicated; some will be new; copy will be provided)
• Build custom emails in support of promotions being carried out in other digital channels
• Thoroughly review emails for accuracy before handing off to scheduler
• Identify and carry out A/B (or multi-variate) testing for email campaigns
• Create responsive email templates using an online tool
• Analyze email marketing KPIs and communicate results effectively (including, but not limited to online sales resulting from email, email deliverability stats, opens, clicks, engagement, etc.)
• Assign deadlines for email marketing related tasks in project management tool, and follow-up weekly if needed
• Send team updates, recaps, and requests via email, and participate in team meetings as needed

Things That Will Set You Apart (aka: Bonus Skills)

• You have some/basic HTML knowledge and can occasionally troubleshoot coding issues
• Experience with a variety of ESPs such as MailChimp, Klaviyo, or similar
• Experience with drip campaigns and transactional emails

• 3+ years of experience in B2B email marketing
• Comfortability making decisions that are revenue impactful
• Experience at a mid-stage or high-growth company
• Experience with direct response marketing
• A passion for data-driven testing
• Project management tool knowledge a plus (such as Asana)
